Parents.

Or in this case, grandparents. Every time I want to do something, it is always wrong, its what they want that’s matters, when are they going to understand that my life isn’t theirs?

I’m 17. I may not be an adult but I would like to be able to make choices for myself without constantly feeling I am doing something wrong or disapproved off. Do parents ever let you make your own choices?

All I want to do is an apprenticeship, but they feel college is the best place for me, yet at the age of 15 they were out working and earning. It may have not been a choice in their day, but yeah I have the choice to do what I want and I don’t want it taken away, even if they think its wrong. It one thing to give an opinion, another to make someone feel they don’t have a choice.

Carrying on.

I was going to stop posting once I’d finished this Unit for my college course, but I guess it’s a good way to try and air things, and hey, I may even get popular.

This is year is going good for me, I’ve started driving lessons and even got myself a nice boyfriend, the only thing that is bringing me down is my college. It is so unorganised and I feel like they have no idea what they are doing! I want to find a apprenticeship, or at least a full time job that will benefit my future. Eh life goes on!

I hope everyone is having a good year!

Holidays are over.

The Christmas holidays are over, the time every child dreads. having to wake up and go back to school or college is horrible. Yet something we all have to do.

How is my first day back at college going? Horrible. I have had about 2 hours sleep and it feel ill and bad tempered. Ever feel like that?  I can’t wait to get to go home, to be honest I can wait for this  year to be over.

New Year.

So another new year has rolled around! How did I spend my new years night? Working of course. As I’m finally old enough (a month away from being 17) I can work behind the bar while being supervised by an adult! Doesn’t sound as fun until you at the end of the night you get a £80 pay check for just serving drinks.

The New Year doesn’t bring an awful lot of excitement to me, although I am happy of the kind of fresh start! How did you spend your new years eve? Working? At home with loved ones? Which every way, remember, it’s just a new year, it changes nothing, the only way for things to change is if you change them yourself!

Have a good one!

First Blog Post.

So why am I doing this Blog? I’m doing for an assignment at college. To begin with I will tell you a little about myself.

Currently I am taking a level 3 IT and Business course at college, however I am looking into an apprenticeship as I believe it would benefit me better. I’m 16 years old, soon to be 17 on the 2nd of February. I’m 5ft tall, and probably will never grow any taller than that.

My blog will be just about random things that happen in my day to day life, I hope you enjoy.
